This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!
Plenty of people are interested in the paranormal. Dylan Jones is interested enough to pursue a PhD in it.
Dylan is studying parapsychology at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland, with research focused on modern paranormal groups and the influence media may have on the way they investigate ghosts and hauntings.
For decades, paranormal television, movies, books, and now social media have helped shape our ideas about what a ghost investigation should look like. But have those portrayals also influenced the people actually doing the investigating—the equipment they use, the methods they follow, or even what they expect to find?
And where does parapsychology fit into all of this? What does it mean to study paranormal experiences from an academic perspective, and what can that research tell us about the way we investigate the unexplained?
You can get more information about Dylan at theghosthunter.co.uk or join Dylan and his fiancé, Brigid, on a ghost tour of Savannah. Visit their website at witchinghoursavannah.com.
